Built-In Statement Properties / ObjectsLast Updated: September 09, 2019
Spiff works by calculating commission statements for each rep. A statement requires a user (AKA a rep), an assigned plan (sometimes called a "line" or "plan_assignment"), and a statement_period. This means that in each statement you will have access to several built-in properties. The following objects are available by default in every statement, so you can use them in the definition of any variable.
For example, in the definition of any variable, you can always reference "user" or "statement". You can also reference any of the attributes on these Objects. So for example, you can reference "user.name" or "statement_period.end_date" or "statement_period.start_date".
